Ancestral Lines

For the past 30 years, I have gathered information on the descendants of Henry Hornbuckle (1653-1707) of Westmoreland Co., VA, from whom my grandmother's mother, Madeline Currance Hornbuckle Sacre, descended.

Now, in collaboration with Les and Austin Hornbuckle of Huntsville, AL, who have compiled much data on living members of the family, this massive work, totaling more than 12,000 names of descendants and spouses, has been published.

The book includes all descendants of Henry Hornbuckle, his English ancestry back to the 1530's, and members of other unrelated Hornbuckles.  Included is a large Cherokee family of Hornbuckles, descendants of several black Hornbuckle families, and descendants of several Hornbuckles who emigrated to New York City in the 1830's and 1840's.
